Thomas and his son Stien are the real deal. This is not your common tourist trap excursion. Thomas takes his dogs and his sport very seriously. You will take a scenic drive with Stien from the center of Tromsø thru the fjords and snow covered mountains to Thomas's home at the base of beautiful surrounding mountains. You are quickly introduced to Thomas, fitted and dressed in the proper warm clothing and out to meet and harness your team of dogs. After a quick lesson, and I mean really quick, you are ready to go. Pay close attention to Thomas's instructions. Be mindful of the initial steep drop at the beginning of the trail!!!! And hang on!!! The trail can be quite physically challenging at times but work hard because your dogs are always working harder and if you slow them down or lead them into trouble they will look back at you with a the most judgmental glare. The views and adrenaline rush are worth all your effort. After about an hour of mushing you will help unharness your dogs from the sled and bring them back to their houses one by one and then help feed them. You go inside, change out of your cold suits and sit down to some cookies and hot coffee while Thomas tells a little more about himself, his dogs and answers any other questions you might have. Don't waste this opportunity, don't be shy. If you want a physical challenge and the opportunity to learn real dog sledding with a professional then book here. Also, he only books tours of 2-4 people to maintain a more quality experience.

This was undoubtedly one of the highest point of our Tromso trip! The husky wheel sledding was a perfect mix of adrenaline rush and scenic backdrop- take it from us the memory of this trip will never fade away. Thomas and his older son Steen were so warm, they made us feel so welcome and made sure we enjoyed every bit if our time on the farm. They made excellent hosts! The Huskies are a delight to watch and interact with, amazing they are- so full of energy and if you are a dog lover- do not miss this adventure that will give you memories of a lifetime! Even if you are not a dog lover, give this a shot- u will not regret it. The drive to the farm is filled with breath taking views of the famous fjords of Norway. Also Steen and Thomas have great stories to share that will charm you as well. A must do when in Tromso.

Amazing experience! Cosmos is a super nice guy, easy to talk with, responsible, cheerful and a great host. He picked up us at Tromsø, driving us through beautiful fiords to the place of the activity. There's wasn't enough snow the first days of November so we used a car with wheels instead the normal sled. Cosmos cares a lot about his dogs and maintain this activity for very smalls group. I've done dog sledding before in Russia, but this experience was very different and super fun! After a long ride, we fed the dogs, played a little bit with them and we were in for some cookies and hot chocolate, before driving us back to Tromsø. I would advise you doing the dog sled with Cosmos, without any hesitation. No matter your age, you'll have a great time! Cheers Cosmos and see you next time!

I went with my parents to do the dog sledding. I chose this company, because of the small groups and the possibility to also help with getting the dogs ready. I love dogs and I was looking forward to also being involved to take care of the dogs. I was not disappointed! They let me be with the dogs as much as I wanted, I helped putting the dogs in front of the sled and fed them. My parents on the other hand are not that much into dogs, but they were also amazed by the experience. To stirr the sled was a fun and a bit challanging experience and my dad and me had so much fun! My mum did not want to stirr herself, which was also not a problem. She was sitting in the sled the whole time and enjoyed the amazing landacape. After the tour I was out with the dogs and my parents were sitting inside in a cozy room, where they were still able to observe the dogs. To conclude, best experience I have had in a long time and I will never forget this...
