Lillevik Lofoten — Local services in Vågan

A large, warm, very comfortable house where you immediately feel at ease. And what a magnificent view! Our youngest daughter, 7 years old, said as soon as we arrived : "wow, the giant TV !" speaking of the view from the many windows in the living room, what a reward for us !! Thanks to Martine and Christian for letting us enjoy this superbly renovated house. Thank you for the book detailing the work, the workbook which explains everything for the house, and gives us lots of advice for enjoying the region, the very warm wood stove in the evening (you can buy everything you need at the grocery store a few kilometers away), the necessary to make the waffles ... As a bonus, we were able to observe for 1 hour a couple of otters very, very close, just below the house. An incredible moment ! Truly a...

Amazing place with breathtaking scenery. Stayed here with a group of friends on a skiing holiday. The location is secluded and only a short drive from all hiking destinations. The host is very helpful, and has great knowledge about the area, what to do, see and experience while visiting. The house has cool retro inspired interior and is in great shape. We were lucky to experience the beautiful northern lights, even from inside the living room looking through the panorama windows!

Gimsøya is a quiet place and good for relaxing. It is also the perfect base for discovering the rest of Lofoten placed in the middle of the Island group. Gimsøya itself is also great for activities like hiking, fishing, swimming, bicycling and horseback-riding - or watching the sunset or aurora borealis
