Gorakh is a pure scenery place located at a 5688 feet height and is part of the Kirthar Mountain Range. It covers the entire area of Sindh’s border with west area of Baluchistan. Moreover, locally it is stated that Gorakh is derived from Balochi word "Gurkh" but the Balochi word "Gurkh" is perversion of Persian word "Gurg" which means wolf. It is best natural place that is sprawled over with big scary mountain. Gorakh Mount is gifted with countless blessings. An ideal tourist spot due to several streams. It is a pasturing place with very difficult tracks, curves and dangerous ways. Labyrinthine ascents and inclines and intricate passes like Khawal. It’s too difficult to reach and cross casually. In winter, Gorakh Mounts fully covered with beautiful snowfall. You can say that it is one and only place in Sindh that have snowfall in winters. The scary mountains is fully covered with a blanket of beautiful white snow. Government has decided to get advance this place into an attractive Hill Station so that residences of other Sindh cities e.g. Karachi and Hyderabad could see and enjoy snowfall without going far flung areas of the Pakistan. An excellent natural place with rugget mountain. very cold ,best sunset and sunrise view .clear sky ... Road to gorakhill is very steep more dangerous than rollercoaster, continued steep asending for 1 hour,only four wheeler with experience driver required....Jeep car are available at 5000/- RS and resthouse is good 3000/-rs but in tent are also available...bonefire is at its best....never seen such...
