Mizri Ghar — Local services in Sherani Tehsil

Mizri Ghar also Called Tor Ghar " Kala Pahar " is in the Koh e sulaiman range. This is a summer camp of Mzari Tribe of pashtunes. The part of the mountain where Takhte suleman is situated is called Kasi Ghar which is to the Right of the D.I.Khan - Zhob road while Tor Ghar is to the left. Dhana Sar is the passage between these two gigantic mountains. Height of Zmari Ghar " Mirzi Ghar" is approximately 4300 to 4500 meter. this mountain has thick forests of pine trees and Chilghoza Pine (Pinus gerardiana). Itt is the summer camp of Mzari tribe who move their sheep and goats up to the top during summer. Main source of earning of the inhibitants is the harvest of Chilghoza and Sheep & Goat farming.

The people are very hospitable and loving. they accept their guests with open arms. Temperature is very low at the top so much so that when down in the fields the temperature is as high as 40 to 45 Degree C at the tope of the mountain temprature is only 20 or even 16 C. it is a place to watch. the climb is about 6 hours from the base. first half of the track is easy but the second half is testing.

However no special skills equipment is required. all it needs is will power and stamina. I would recommend to at least visit once this beautiful place so deep down in the south. it is 1 hour drive from Zhob and 3 hours drive from D.I.Khan. I have visited Tor Ghar twice...Chill Chill Mizri Ghar, Cool Cool Mizri Ghar.No one can sleep without covering one's body with quilt even in a room at night time,in summer.It is central to 3 provinces.It is clearly visible from sub- tehsil of Taunsa "Vahoa". There are amazing valleys of Pine trees& Chilghoza Pine tees.The names of a few prominent valleys are: (a) Sakamiara Valley ( 2) Parang Shapela (3) Gurdae Ghuriasa (4) Tunbeil (5) Zardola (6) Shoorey or Tandavani. We are running a movement for this place to be developed as a tourist spot.
