Boquete Canyon Village — Local services in Alto Boquete

The view is spectacular, the houses are well-built, although they all look almost the same. Security is very good, as they are very strict about allowing non-residents in. What I must say is that the management is very unfriendly and doesn't properly maintain the common areas. The pool area has disgusting water most of the time, the pool paint is horribly peeling, and some portions of the ceiling are in poor condition. The gym is so small, no more than two people can exercise in the same space because they'd constantly bump into each other, unless a third person sits on the bike for an hour or more while the other two finish. The treadmill doesn't work, and management isn't planning on replacing it either. I paid my annual fee to use it, and it's not worth paying $500.00 for something that doesn't work or isn't functional and isn't maintained. There is even a deteriorated gazebo somewhere in the development, half-sunken in the mud, which gives it a terrible appearance. I'm not happy living in this place and I'm planning...
