Not for the feint of heart. The road to get there via car is full of pot hole, twizts and turns. It is only accessible via a 4x4 capable truck or SUV. The guard gate will not allow you to continue if you dont have the appropriate vehicle. Once you get to the port, you are transported via boat to the island. We chose to camp, but there are rustic cabins available. There is no A/C, bathrooms are common. There is a restaurant that serves decently priced local food and drinks. They are very friendly! The sea water was crystal clear and warn. We had a great time, but it was cut short by high winds and torrential rain, which waa not ideal for camping and the forcast for the next day was just more of the same. Is yiu have the option, I would recommend to go during dry season (Dec-Abril). All other times...

Interesting place, we visited around 5 islands. Overall good food but the sleeping accomodations can vary substantially. Be sure you ask in advance about all the terms and conditions when you book a tour. It is very easy to be tricked in paying way too for what you get. As a sad note, many of the islands have trash on the beaches ( slippers, swimming suits, used diapers, allot of plastic bits, pieces and residue). We ended up asking for some big trash bags on the first Island we visited and filling two of them in...

No recomiendo a...

Beautiful! The tour was great, so cool to see all the different islands and hear the stories about them. We stayed overnight at Isla perro chica we contemplated doing 2 nights. But honestly one night was perfect! The accommodation was a little rustic and the sleep wasn't the greatest because of it. So I don't know if I would do 2 nights.
