A starting point for a trekking to San Juan de Chuccho (2.5 hours fast walk) from where you can continue to Sangalle (Oasis) via Coshnirhua and Malata. The whole route took as 5 hours, but we walk quite fast and it's mostly downhill/flat. Almost all guided tours go in this direction with overnight in San Juan de Chuccho or Sangalle. A night in San Juan means lazy first day and quite demanding second, in a Sangalle it's...

Great walk overall. Few things I didn't like, firstly the entrance fee of 70 SOL was very high considering the lack of maintenance of the park. I also thought that at certain points the route was unclear and some people with less intelligence than myself may struggle. The walk was good and I would recommend this trail.

We drove to this Outlook point after going to the Condor overlook. It's definitely worth a quick stop but I can also understand why most tour buses turn around since nothing will top the overlook.
