Huaooo, pure nature at it best, there is only one word to describe this river and its passages, HEAVEN ON EARTH. Yes, the pure air rolling through our bodies, the smell of flora & fauna that takes our breath away. THE is ZERO pollution in this area. The URUBAMBA river is about 470 miles long and from the north, the AMAZON RIVER drains it waters šŸ’§ into the URUBAMBA RIVER. A lot of people come to this river to water rafting, this river starts in the AMAZON RIVER, it passes through ANDES MOUNTAINS ā›°, MACHU PICCHU and ends at the SACRED VALLEY. Even though we didn't water rafting on this river, we were able to enjoy the fury of its waters as we were riding down the rail on board of the VISTADOME TRAIN which have a 360 degree views of the passages. We love it and will repeat this experience again. I want to thanks GOD for sharing the making of his creation šŸ™ , yes heaven on earth šŸŒŽ. Sincerely, TONY...

We went white water rafting last week at the end of June. We were worried that the water would be too cold but they gave us wetsuits and jackets. The rafting was amazing with the view of sacred valley. We were a party of 8 and all had an amazing time. The river was clean and the Rapids were fun. The water was cold but we dried up quickly with the sun. The temperature was in the 70's with sunny clear skies. Definitely one of the highlights...

Near this river basin is located the Camisea Field, Peru's largest confirmed natural gas reservoir which was discovered by Royal Dutch Shell Company in 1986. No exploration or excavation has commenced however, since Royal Dutch Shell was unable to reach an agreement with PetroPeru (Peru's State Owned Energy Company) So where does Peru's gas for consumption come...

8 Days in Peru (save and share this post): Can’t believe our time in Peru is over. The @adventuresbydisney team really knows how to put an itinerary together and the service was impeccable. Here’s how we spent our days. Day 1: Fly into Lima with free time to explore Day 2: Fly to Cusco and learn about the art of weaving at the Center for Traditional Textiles Day 3: White water rating down the Urubamba River and explore Ollantaytambo. In the evening all the kids had a Disney movie night while the parents got to have dinner on our own šŸ™ŒšŸ¾. Day 4: Explore the Moray ruins and tour the Salt Pans of Maras. In the evening the adults took a cocktail class and Peruvian cooking demonstration while the kids learned how to make fruit mock tails and had a pizza making night. Day 5: Machu Picchu!! Day 6: Visit the Pisac Market and a Llama/Alpaca farm learning how the beautiful Peruvian textiles are made. Day 7: Visit the Stones of Sacsayhuaman, Andean Music Experience and farewell dinner. Day 8: Fly home So many moments that couldn’t fit in this reel but my stories will have so many more details, can’t wait to share those. So who’s added Peru to their bucket list? Any questions on traveling with Adventures by Disney? Hosted by #AdventuresByDisney #familytravel
