We confirmed our departure time and pickup location with Rainbow Mountain Cusco 8 hours before original scheduled departure. Two hours after our original scheduled departure, an unknown number was calling us requesting a screenshot of our location for pickup. Turns out that a different guide service, Creando Aventuras, was going to be taking us on this 12-14 hour excursion and Rainbow Mountain Cusco never gave us any heads up whatsoever. Since it was the middle of the night when we were intended to depart, we didn’t feel comfortable hopping into a van and driving 3 hours into the mountains with a random guide service. No refund or apologies from Rainbow Mountain Cusco regarding their poor communication and late notice of change in itinerary. I...
