We stayed for day use and used their cabana cottage which is perfectly situated few meters away from the beach. Really lovely place to unwind and relax, the location of our cottage is very breezy and no major obstruction to view the beach. PROS: Cabana was nice. Foam doesn’t smell and the sheets are clean. Our cabana comes with a table and 4 chairs where we had our lunch. Sand is black, which is perfectly fine. No big rocks in the beach so it was a pleasant swimming experience for us. There is a bbq pit behind our cabana (but we brought our own portable grill) and a wash area too to clean your utensils and other stuff. Better bring your own dish soap and sponge. Staff are friendly. We went on a Monday so no crowd around the resort, but not sure at the pool area, we never checked it as we are enjoying the beach the entire time. There are garbage cans. I did not see any stray dogs while we were there. Ample of parking space. CONS: If you come to this beach to relax, this might not be the place if you want peace and quiet. Like any other philippine resorts, karaoke is on the nearby cabana and you can hear other group’s very loud music. The shallow part of the water is very cloudy and dirty so you might have to swim on dirty water for a few meters before reaching the clean and swimmable area. They have a floating bridge so you can go jump to the deep water but it might not be for you if you cant swim. Some screws in the floating bridge already came off, I think they need to do better maintenance around the resort. Also true with the toilet, it smells and would be better if it’s cleaned constantly.

My overall experience is good, but it’s more of a reality vs expectations. I want to highlight the new addition of the resort which is the kubo, this area is very instagramable during night time! You can chill a lot, take good photos, breath fresh air, look at the stars, jam, etc! Photos taken in this area at night are great! This place is not so good in the morning, it’s very hot in this area. Room Accommodation. I was disappointed. Look at the photos and see for yourself. Closet is slightly broken, lavatory is defective, drainage need fixing. Did not issue soap, only shampoo. They do not have a telephone line, you need to walk to the FO and face their staff to get your request addressed. Staff. Not the most accommodating staff. The pantry and front office are located in the same area. There was a lot of activity and people traffic- a lot of people flocking here! The old lady who distributed the breakfast meal was rude and condescending! They need to find a better way in distributing the breakfast meals, it will be helpful if they just pack it and let the guest pick it up rather than asking the guests to line up. Food. Acceptable but usually delayed. This place is one of the most popular beach resort in the area, which is acceptable. They just need to work on a lot of things to improve guests experience.

No staff guided us going to our accommodation. No rugs inside the room and no free toiletries. We've rented a bamboo house which is open for public for picture taking. There's a guard at the area but the bamboo house itself doesn't have a lock door, only a zipper to lock the house which is quite unsafe. The staff at the bar section going to the pool area is also rude. We went there during weekends to enjoy the live band, we also ordered our food and drinks anticipating that we can use the table in front of the stage but everything needs to be paid. We were informed that we need to pay 200 pesos since we are only 2 pax and when we already placed our food and drinks and sat on their chair with lights, the waiters went to us and informed that we can only sit there if we will pay 700 pesos which was not mentioned by the staff at the bar where we paid for the table. The waiters brought a regular plastic table and chair and placed it beside the beach. It is embarrassing since we were never informed beforehand and they went to us to ask us to transfer in another regular table the fact that there are plenty of tables available that night. ||||The aura at the bamboo house is very relaxing and the barbeque near the bar station is the best but the beach is dirty and you will have a second thought if you will swim there or not. You can also smell the chlorine in the pool area. The place is also far from Robinson's Butuan and you need to take 2 rides again to ger there if you will...
