A Memorable Island-Hopping Experience at Hundred Islands, Philippines
Our family recently visited the Hundred Islands National Park in the Philippines, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The island-hopping adventure was one of the highlights of our trip, offering breathtaking views, crystal-clear waters, and a variety of activities that everyone in our group enjoyed.
From kayaking and swimming in the pristine beaches to hiking up the islands for panoramic views, there was something for everyone. The scenery was stunning, and it was incredible to see the beauty of nature up close.
One of the standout moments was enjoying a delicious traditional Filipino lunch. For our group of 20, we paid $120 for a sumptuous meal that included a wide selection of seafood, meat, rice, vegetables, fresh fruits, and refreshing drinks. The food was flavorful and a perfect complement to the relaxing ambiance of the islands.
The entire trip was very affordable. For just $105, we got a private boat ride with life vests provided, along with an English-speaking tour guide who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had a great time.
Hundred Islands is the perfect destination for families, offering a mix of adventure, relaxation, and cultural experiences. Whether youβre swimming, hiking, or simply soaking in the views, this trip is an unforgettable experience that we highly recommend to anyone visiting the...

Some info: You don't have to depart on the boat tour from the main port. You can go to Bued Mangrove Park which is a secondary launch point. Prices are a little higher here (~200 pesos per boat) though snorkeling gear was cheaper so it balanced out. But it is quieter and might be closer to your accommodation.
Overall I spent about 5 hours end to end. I didn't lie on the beach very long, didn't do the helmet diving or banana boat, so you might spend another couple of hours than I did.
The "cliff diving" is no longer a thing. Instead, there's a cave with a maybe 15 foot jump into the water below. It's alright, but the bats inhabiting the cave were more interesting. Snorkeling was nice; not a ton of corals but plenty of tropical fish and they're not shy. They'll swim around you and get close enough to touch (good luck actually touching them though). Did the 1400 step pilgrimage. I am not religious but this is actually quite cool. There are a dozen different statues along the way depicting Christ's crucifixion and ending with the big statue that you see before you land on the island.
All in all, I think it's a nice place to visit, but it...
