Here is my take on my short 3 day, 2 night stay at this resort this past weekend. It was amihan so the waves were fairly bigger than usual. On more temperate months, it would probably be more ideal for swimming. Best to wear booties to protect your feet from the sharp corals. I was told that there are lots of fish 🐠 swimming by the shore. Know that there is a sudden drop as you go further out into the sea.

The room No. 5 was fairly large. Air conditioning worked well. The toilet & bath was fairly large. Foam mattress and not spring. My queen size bed was ample. Small flat screen tv but I did not have a chance to watch cable.

The only downside to my stay was the almost unavailable WiFi but then again, most of our countryside are still saddled with poor internet facilities. Even Globe Telecoms’ LTE was barely providing me anything. Also, the beef tapa was salty for me. The pork tocino was reliable.

This Cebu island facing, beach-front, rustic bungalow resort was a pleasure for me to stay in. Never mind that the walls were painted candy-colors.

Watch out for Sherlock, the resort dog 🐕. At his age, he is adorable. And harmless.

The service of the resort’s crew were more than adequate. They were calm and efficient, kind and warm. I was very contented. I was happy. And yes, I will...

The place was peaceful because they had only 3 groups of guests (including us) when we visited today. We were a bit surprised of their price as they equate to starred hotels & resorts, a bit pricy. The food tasted good & the portion was fair enough for 2 persons.

The management asks 150 pesos as entrance fee; we thought this was consumable but 'twas NOT. Another odd policy is, during late afternoon (5:30 or so) they will have an increased price on services-- this we did not ask further. Another thing about service-- the front desk clerk was not so accommodating & less cordial that she could not even look at us eye-to-eye!🫣 My chef son (has been working in international hotels) was surprised for such repugnance within the industry!👎👎👎 They should put someone more polite, cordial, & accommodating at the front desk. The food servers were very polite & respectful though.👏👏👏 Regarding amenities, they have a small pool that being a swimming enthusiast myself, I dared not swim. The place / bayview is beautiful & relaxing; it's being complemented by the 4 big hammocks in the area. Being a reveiwer, I don't recommend the property because of its price & the robotic service experience we have had today. We had way BETTER experiences at reasonable priced hotels / resorts here & abroad, than today in...

I was there last 2015 for my brother's wedding, 3 times in 2016 just to chill and last March I held my simple engagement dinner there with my family, the food is nice and cheap too, there were so many leftovers because we never thought our ordered food is a lot.. so we takeout the remaining food, brought them home for the next day. It is a quite place, I would say, it is perfect for couples' secret escapade who want to enjoy quite time together.. also perfect for those who wants to go for retreat, peaceful to think.. you can swim either at the wide swimming pool or at the clear blue ocean..

Just for the information of everyone, they don't have Wi-Fi anymore but still I have them 5 stars because the stuffs...

Escosas has one outdoor pool. It's a beach front property. They served drinks and food and the food was tasty. Service staff are okay but they charge for 100 pesos entrance fee just to dine and if you use the swimming pool you have to pay another 100 pesos. For me for a place like this which does not have a good amenity or facility the price is too expensive even for a room for two a night would cost 1800 pesos. Better to book somewhere else
