Villa Cecilia Beach Resort — Local services in Anda

Our experience was really bad.

First of all, the room was very small. The room they endorsed was for 10pax. However, the number of pillows and beds was for 7pax only. You can look at the picture on the comments. No blankets were also given so I recommend bringing your own blanket when staying here.

Next is the cottage rental. Since the accommodation is not very near from the sea shore itself, we were told that we can reserve a cottage along with tent pitching. She gave us pics of the cottage we would like to reserve so we chose one. But to my surprise, there was no available cottage when we arrive for our check-in. We were asked to wait until 5pm when some of their guests leave the said cottage. So okay. We waited and payed the overnight fee for the cottage but we didn't opt to sleep there for the night and when we came back in the morning, there were already other people in the cottage. We expected that we would have the cottage until we checked out by 12nn. This is very unfair since the cottage was given to us late, and they didn't even give us the chance to stay in the cottage for breakfast.

Another thing to note is that they will charge you for the stove usage. This is okay but they're supposed to tell their customers beforehand.

I recommend you go to other accomodations if you have a choice. Wouldn't like to go...

Pros: Good distance between beach and cottages. Can go to the beach anytime.

Cons: Service was not so good. We arrived there without anyone accommodating us. We just asked a random about the reserved room then he opened the room then that's it. They didn't even give us the keys to the room, we needed to search for someone to ask for the keys. There was no one to assist for everything. No shower. No kitchen wares EG. grill, plates, cups, etc. (Need to pay extra) Needed to visit other resorts to eat.

Conclusion: The resort was not for picky and sensitive visitors. The place was good since the beach looks really nice but the resort was mediocre. Do not expect much if you'll stay here. Bring your own items and foods for more convenient stay. The major downside was the service, it was so weird going there without anyone accommodating...

Our place is spacious and the owner is very nice. The tondol beach is kiddie-friendly. If you want to swim, you need to walk far before the water gets deeper. Honestly, we didn't enjoy swimming because we get tired of walking, plus there's a lot of seaweed before you get to a deeper level. But you can experience the sandbar. If you do the island hopping I do not recommend the 2 islands (forgot the name of the place but nothing special in it). It's pretty close to tondol beach and didn't see the difference from it. We wanted to do the snorkeling on this island hopping but the thing is before you reach their snorkeling area you need to pass by lots of sea worms...
