Booking process is not transparent and info provided confusing. We enquired for two nights and weâre given a price. On arrival the price was now per night. Bad communication. And no list of accommodation types and prices anywhere to be found. Also the Straw huts are not sealed! The light leaks out left and right and draws mosquitoes in. No mosquito net over the bed. After 10 minutes there were so many mosquitoes we upgraded to a concrete wall hut to avoid getting dengue. The property is partly renovated, looks like a good event place or just to stay and relax for a week if thatâs what youâre looking for but as an overnight option for a few nights itâs a bit to hassle here. Breakfast times were not given. We arrived at 7:45 at the breakfast area, weâre told someone will be here soon. Didnât get any food until 9am, hassle because we had a long drive ahead and wanted to leave early. I want to give more stars but the amount of single use plastic here is insane. Breakfast coffee in the resto is served in styrofoam cups. Room service is also in styrofoam boxes. Why? For a big event it maybe makes sense, less clean up, but during our stay there was less than 10 people here. For an eco park thatâs not a very eco friendly approach. Also shared bathrooms were not cleaned during our...

You need to pass the rice fields to reach the area.
They are open except Monday.
Gintung Pakpak is slightly far away from other Eco-Parks like Rodriquez Eco-Park and the Bale.
The entrance fee is P150 for regular visitors. Those with private vehicles need to park outside facing the huge ponds in Brgy. Baliti Dam.
Near the rice paddies are playgrounds and a triangular-roof Cottages, where you will pay a separate fee for the accommodation.
There is a swimming pool and a designated place for the evening bonfire.
Restaurants are available, but if you wish for a higher viewing deck, you need to climb 200 steps to reach the area. You do not need to worry about being hungry, as Gintung Pakpak Cafe is located above the Eco-park.
Those who opted for shortcuts without going up the stairway, there is a road accessible by vehicles which leads to Gintung Pakpak cafe.
The Eco-Park is generally peaceful outside the noise...

We walked all the way up to the cafe to have a morning cup of coffee⊠itâs a 300 step climb up to the cafe from our accommodations. We got there early because the staff down at the resort said that the cafe would be open by 7am. Only to find out that it opens at 8:30am. It opened at 8:40am, but the staff said that coffee would be ready by 9am because the machine has just been turned on. Suggestion: if you will open at 8:30am, the machine should have been turned on at 8am. We arrived at the cafe 8am, waited till 8:40am to open. Only to find out coffee would be served at 9am. We left without our coffee disappointed.
We booked a room for two, to find one towel in the room. I asked for another towel, but was told they only provide one towel per room/cabin. (WTF?) I was surprised. First time to hear something like that. I insisted on another towel, and was give one anyway?
And, you have to order dinner ahead of time because the kitchen...
