As I was passing the Baler-Casiguran road. I notice a beautiful rock formation located not too far from the stone shore. Searching the internet, it was known as the Ampere Beach and Rock Formation. This is not just a rock formation but a small cave which is better known as the Okoton Cave. Okoton Cave has become an ideal spot for locals to determine the condition of the weather. They can forecast the weather and determine its intensity through the waves crashing and passing through the cave. When the weather is too intense and harsh, the sound of the splash can almost be compared to the sound of an explosion.

   Read moreIt was beautiful, and the sight of the waves were amazing. It was a great place to relax. There was also an ice cream vendor who offered us very delicious and simple ice cream. Hopefully we all could come back here and experience the fresh breeze of this shore once again. I would totally recommend this place on your way to a beach somewhere here, and the fresh and strong wind defenitley was refreshing, no flaws in my opinion. It might be a great nighttime...
   Read moreAmpere beach has a rocky beach. By rocky, I mean it does have a lot of roundish pebbles. The shoreline is just full of pebbles that stretches for kilometers. There are rock formations as well here and it's a treat to just walk around the area as the rocks are fascinating. There's a metal bridge that also is a nice place to take photos at. There's a restaurant on the road here called kainan sa boulevard which is pretty good and has dining areas...
