It was an adventure. Seeing the mountain range of Sierra Madre was breathtaking. Our ride had to cross the river just to get to Ocean View Resort. Having a bridge would be awesome but it was an experience crossing the river.
This place is also a package. You have two options here. You can swim at the beach or you can swim at the nearby river that is less than a 5-minute walk.
The place was an experience. You can trek further northwest of the location. There are rock formations that you can traverse. A mini-rock climbing I would say. It leads you to the lighthouse if you have 2 hours to spare, or you can rent a boat that saves a lot of time.
Overall, there are a lot of areas to explore in this place. If you seek an adventure, definitely go here.
Cons: Don't forget to bring flashlights and a power bank since there are power outages sometimes.
Mobile Data isn't strong for smart. You can go to the northwest side since the signal is better the closer you get to the lighthouse.

Read moreTheir resort is very simple and unassuming, not so fancy in overall design, but what I loved about Ocean View Resort is that the owner is super hospitable, welcoming and kind. It was like having us as their personal guests. We got a barkada room, and it was surprisingly comfortable. Thick bed mattresses, clean linens, soft pillows, cold AC, so we really had a comfortable sleep (and overall stay). Beachfront cottages are also free for overnight guests. Parking is safe and spacious.

When I came here with my family, we rented a 1,200 pesos cottage (overnight). There was a public sink, public grill, and convenient comfort rooms (male and female).
