First up, this is not a "white" beach. Just your regular beach with cottages run by the locals. We went May and the beach was full of jellyfish. They told us it's not the kind that stings tho. Second, if you're alone or a group of less than 10 and planning on just a day tour, better to contact a tour company so it'll lessen your expenses. Better to bring your own food and drinks. Though they have goods on the island, they charge very high on every thing. Some people told us to leave our bags inside the van as it might get wet during the boat ride and just take what's necessary. NO, DON'T DO THAT. Even if you have a 16kg backpack, it'll still be safe as the guides arrange a cottage that serves as your base point. And lastly, enjoy the beach, the hike, the mountain. Other than that, the beach is a chef's kiss. It was noon when I took a bath and it was still as cold as rain. The boodle fight was also great. As much as possible too, buy from the locals because what they prepare tastes really good and it was also the only source of...
