I have been there twice, just to enjoy the pool and the food, in the last two months with my wife, child and friends. I have never stayed in the rooms so I cannot comment on them.||||The first time we were there was a Sunday, holiday afternoon and the place was very busy. The staff made the extra effort to get us a table and chairs to seat 8 of us who arrived plus the two others than joined us about an hour later. And they were able to do it. Well done to them all. ||||We ordered food, pizzas and other items and although it took some time for it to arrive (I am assuming because it was so busy) when it did arrive, it was delicious. ||||The children had a blast in their wonderful pool.||||The second time we arrived the place was not so busy, almost empty but yet the service was still amazing and the food top notch. Again well done for making this a pleasant experience for us and our friends and children. ||||The only down side is that there are just too many older foreign men who do nothing but sit at tables occupying the best seating areas intended for six or more people, when they are just two or three of them, only drinking and not eating or swimming and staring at the women and children in the pool. Creepy is an...
Read moreAnother place gone to the dogs:( We go to this place on a regular basis, one thing that always annoys me though is that it when the place opens at 10am they are always cleaning both pools, a bit like the supermarkets here. Instead of stacking shelves at 7am they wait until the place opens. Not logic that a European understands. Well today was no different, both pools being cleaned but the water was emerald green & the pool area actually stank of urine. I was at the bar trying to order a coffee which came stone cold. I suggested that they heat the milk before giving it to the customer. Blank stare. I asked them to reheat it it. Blank stare. Normally the staff are fantastic. I asked them to reheat it a third time & never saw it again. Meanwhile my wife was trying to order food for us & the kids. Even my Filipino wife couldn’t communicate with these dummies. WTF has happened to this place? It was impossible to even order food! We left & wont be back. Is the owner away or ill? His staff will run this place into the ground. We see it all the time here. I suggest you go to Thalatta Resort 9km up the road. Entrance was only 400 pesos for five & the food is always top...
Read moreVery beautiful place with a lovely garden! Nice pool area with attention to lovely little details as well. The owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly, they are always open for a little chat. We stayed for 6 nights in one of the bungalows which is spacious and felt like a little home to ourselves. We loved the comfortable bed and the spacious shower. You get a lot of privacy if you want - and if you like to socialize, the bar and restaurant offer great food and drinks for reasonable prices.||||Located in Bacong, we found it a good place to stay to be away from the noise of the city but to be near enough to several sights in the area which we were easily able to explore for ourselves by scooter.||||Overall, the Bambulo is a real hidden little paradise! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will definitely...
