We're deeply disappointed by the disrespectful treatment we received from the staff, notably the owner's sister who seemed to be in charge.
During a mountain ride, our motorcycle broke down near their resort at 5 PM on March 28th. We didn't have the capacity to jumstart the motorcycle neither did we have the tools to tow the vehicle. Despite ample space in their parking lot, we were denied overnight parking with a curt response:
"Hindi pupwede. Mga naka-check in lang ang pwede magpark dito."
We understood their refusal so we sought alternatives. However, the same staff member rudely rejected our request to park at a nearby house, insisting it was also their property:
"Ay amin din yan. Wag dyan. Sa iba nalang kayo."
With no options to tow or jumpstart the motorcycle, we reluctantly inquired about renting a room in their resort solely for parking. The said staff abruptly responded without even letting us finish speaking:
"Limang Libo."
We checked their resort's Facebook page and it was advertised there that their room rate for 1-2 pax is only PHP 3,800. Another rude response we could recall was when we asked for their resort's name, the same lady staff responded:
"Ayan oh, naka-paskil sa harap. Pangalan ko yang nakalagay dyan."
Thankfully, passing police officers assisted us. Thank you also to the Kuya Ice Cream vendor who helped tow our motorcycle, especially to the police officers who made sure we got to our place safely. God bless these souls for having such a helpful heart. š¤šš¼
However, the experience raises concerns about the resort's hospitality standards. Hospitality SHOULD NOT be conditional on appearance. We could've appreciated you responding in a kind manner while refusing us your service, rather than the arrogant behavior you demonstrated at that day...
Miss Casylin, as part of a hospitality business, such behavior undermines the essence of hosting guests. We urge reflection on the resort's values and treatment of all guests, regardless of circumstance...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMust read for safety!!!! The worst resort experience I've ever had!!! First of all, the road to the resort itself is very dangerous. It's difficult to go up and down because of the steep stairs, around 80 steps, especially challenging when carrying luggage. It's very risky for children and the elderly. Secondly, the staff. They're very rude; from the moment we arrived, they were unwelcoming and didn't even greet the guests properly. As a Hospitality Management student, I observed their lack of proper knowledge about hospitality, which is crucial for their business to attract more guests and earn respect. They don't even know basic Good Manners and Right Conduct (GMRC), and it's the guests who have to adjust to their behavior. Specifically, the owner of the resort supposedly welcomes guests in a sarcastic manner. It's evident they have no concern for the guests. Thirdly, the price of the cottages, especially their dirty open cottage, is too expensive for the quality. It's not worth the 6k pesos for a simple cottage. Fourthly, for those staying overnight, be cautious because I experienced someone peeping into the very dirty comfort room due to a gap or hole in the roof. When I complained and became hysterical, there was no action or concern from the owner, and it seemed like he was covering something up. Some said there have been similar incidents with Korean guests experiencing āharassmentā They should have addressed and taken action to prevent such incidents from happening again. I hope by sharing my experience, others won't have to go through the same. Lastly, they lacked manners until our departure; we didn't hear any apology or attempt to address what happened. Overall, I don't recommend it based on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wouldnāt suggest going here for families with babies or for anyone really. Worst accommodation I have stayed at.
The road (rough road) leading to the resort is very steep and narrow which is nerve wracking. Then from the parking area going to the actual accommodation and beach you have to go down by a lot of (also steep) steps which is daunting and also tiring. We have to be really careful not to fall down (so should you if you ever go there) as it was slippery when we went there.
Thereās lots of unleashed dogs waiting to attack you and lots of cats lurking nearby waiting to attack your food.
Thereās also the faucet on the sink which keeps coming off from the wall. The faucet in the bathroom also flew when we used it š. The cabin is clean though a little rundown.
The beach is nice though thereās leaves and chips of woods carried ashore by the waves. The view is also nice but I wouldnāt credit that to the resort, just mother nature...
