Mount Guiting-Guiting — Local services in Cajidiocan

Definitely not for beginners! Our most difficult climb so far. Here's some of our photos from our recent climb in Mt. Guiting-Guiting overnight traverse.

"The Gapalagos of Asia"! Mt. Guiting-Guiting is arguably considered by most seasoned mountaineers to be the hardest climb in the Philippines. Standing at 2058masl, this steep and spceckled with rocks is the highest elevation in Romblon.

This specific mountain tested our will to the breaking point we're we traverse it for a total of 29hrs and having to carry our bags for 2days and 1night.

During our summit push, we were hit by rains and strong winds. We go full survival mode. Indeed this mountain challenges your whole being even giving you flashes back of life🤣 but it will reward you with magnificent views and sceneries, flora and fauna that you can only see if you go outdoors.

One of the best and challenging mountain to climb here in PH. Though there are some.difficulties in water source in Mayo's peak it did not stopped us from completing the climb with the support of our guides and friends. The waking early in the morning are always cold but that is part of the IT. Better to be with people you know because it will lighten the mood of those exhausting long walks.
