Bitaog Beach: There are cottages that you can stay for overnight that costs 500.00 per night. (As of writing) There are benches and table for rent for day use. They also have floating cottages. 2 adjacent resorts have a generator. There are at least 4 resorts here. They both have a videoke machine. The resort that we checked in has a Cignal Disk and electricity supply that runs from 6 pm to 10 pm where you can also charge gadgets. They have a store, common toilet and bath, free flowing water source and several dogs. Note: You have to bring your own drinking water to be safe. You have to hire a boat to reach Bitaog beach and also bring you to the other island - Tignob Island.

One of the best place to visit when you're in the province. Roughly 30 minutes to an hour to get here from Caramoran. It's one of the cleanest waters you can swim in here in Catanduanes. Best place to camp and stay for days. No electricity/signal and just pure nature. The locals are friendly, and if you ever need something you can always buy on the "sari-sari" store located on their "sitio". You can even request the locals to ride on their "bangka" and have a tour on the different parts of the island and the neighboring small island for a small fee (depending on the person you talked to, roughly 200-1000php) Must place to visit in the Philippines.

Travel going here from Virac took more than 3 hours. Of course, you had to rent a boat, making this visit one of the most expensive activities I tried in Catanduanes. I wish there were more corals, and I hope the LGU can do something to protect this attraction. We had lunch here, and it looked like we were the only ones in the island.

This place is definitely one of the best, unspoilt, secluded, beaches I've ever experienced!

The water is very clear and there is a long stretch of white sand, so long that I really didn't reach the other end. Well probably that's because the place doesn't have many people and I wouldn't want to separate from my group. 😅 But back to the main point, the beach is WONDERFUL and beach is not rocky.

Accommodation is very spartan but that's alright because it lends to the overall rustic feel of the island life. Bring your flashlights, though as there's no electricity on the island.

Our local guide prepared grilled fish for us and the freshness of the seafood was unlike anything you can find in the city. It was the kind of freshness you can taste and feel in your mouth.

Be sure to go snorkelling. The views are beautiful although it had seen better days when it wasn't damaged by dynamite fishing. But the reef is recovering so that's good. I think it's a silent reminder that as a society, we need to take...
