Elegant Beach Resort — Local services in Cebu

To be honest the environment and ambiance is good and if you wanted to have your selfie and groupie this place is awesome . HOWEVER when in comes to CUSTOMER SERVICE and ACCOMODATION sorry for the word but IT SUCKS. When we came in to resort it seems that our group is not welcome we came in smiling but the front desk lady i forgot her name seemed to be tired of explaining the policy. When we grillled our marinated pork and we borrowed them plates they only gave us 3 to the point that we uses our paper plates for heavy grilled food.We came in to resort like almost 7pm yet they limit their pool up to 10 pm we still have to grill our marinated meat, eat our dinner so we cannot really assure to go on swimming by 7pm. Whats worse is that in the morning we ordered 3 servings of fried chicken, 3 rice platters and 1 tinolang manok and they give the other serving of fried chicken to the VIP customers even if we ordered first, we waited for an hour then the rest of us haven't eaten lunch because of that system we went home UNSATISFIED of the overall servings. One room 11 bed BUT ONE REST ROOM. How ironic...

I rate it 3 because the room has no screen on the toilet and bathroom on their vent which enable the mosquitoes to come in, the sliding door, the entrance doors, the toilet and bathroom doors has no rubber which absorbs the impact sound upon closings which can be heard and is disturbing during sleep. Going to the location for the first timers is not easy unless you use Google map or navigation app. The staffs are very accommodating. Guest oriented staff. The beach is so okay. The pool is also nice especially the infinity pool ♾. If you have some issues regarding your health maintenance or unexpected issues like asthma and allergies, and mosquito repellant, better bring it with you because there are no pharmacy close to the area. For the smokers, there are designated areas which no smoking allowed in the room(smoke detection installed). They accept walk-ins if there are available rooms but preferably with appointment or reservations.it has big parking spaces. Gated...

The place needs more manning for room service. We were in the new bldg. The shower drain is not funtional - the water does not flow towards it causing the water to flow over to the sink and toilet area. It was a bit messy. Privacy issue: you can be heard from the hallway esp when you are in the shower/toilet. The food is mediocre but the good thing is you can actually cook some bbq with no extra charge. The staff is friendly though, no dramas when you just ask politely. Just disappointed with the beach coz it has significant amount of rubbish.
