Sillon Island — Local services in Cebu

A must visit when in Bantayan. Accessible by rental boats from Bantayan Island. Entrance fees are as posted in the pictures and are actually reasonable (Php 200 for adults). Wrist bands will be issued upon admission. Admission staff are not so friendly, but lifeguards are. Lifeguards are everywhere and are very helpful. Island is privately owned and maintained hence the good services and general set-up of the place. There's a cliff diving spot some 10mins walk from the main activity area. If you want some little seclusion there's another coastline near the cliff diving area. They seem to also have a restaurant but haven't tried since we bought with us our food. There's overnight accommodation available and they are also quite reasonable in price. Will definitely go back and try their overnight accommodation and experience for myself. All in all Sillon Island, or Virgin Island as they advertise it, is a very safe place to be. During summer months be watchful of jellyfish though, they're quite painful if you happen to...

Been there once. You get to be welcome with a tribal band.

The place is really nice and uncrowded. They don't have rooms for overnight stay because some of the houses there was damaged due to Typhon Haiyan.

They will have cottages which cost around 300php to 500php ($6 to $10) for day use.

Th water is clear and it seems to have a strong current that time.

they have arches of wood with sea shells and spots that you can take pictures.

They serve regular Filipino at a not so cheap and not so expensive dishes.

All in all, definitely worth visiting when you visit Bantayan island.

MY FAVOURITE PLACE OF ALL IN MY ENTIRE VACATION IN CEBU ❤️❤️ the sand are soooo white and clean! The place is not that crowded. There are lots of activities to do there like beach volleyball, kayaking, snorkeling, etc. Plus life vests can be used for FREE! The seabed is not full of rocks so it's not slippery. They also have clean comfort rooms. They have a restaurant there and to my surprise its affordable and delicious! It's just the ambiance that I don't like cause its full of flies. But overall, we will definitely go back...
