Villa Edar Beach Resort — Local services in Cebu

Our new go-to place in the North! We've been here twice now. The first time was with my husband's entire family. Since it was a big group, we rented a 3-family room. It was very spacious, spotlessly clean, had complete toiletries, and even a clean kitchen where we could cook and dine together. They also provided utensils, which was very convenient. Another nice touch was the "honesty store," where you can grab items and pay on your own—such a thoughtful and trustworthy system!

The whole place is huge, and there's even a mini play park for the kids.

The second time we visited, it was just my little family of five. We rented a room for two and just paid for an extra bed. The space was still cozy and clean, with its own heater, free water, and coffee.

One of the best parts for me was the home-cooked food. The owner personally cooked dinner for us when we decided to dine in at the resort. The servings were generous, and you could really taste the comforting, homemade quality in every bite—definitely worth the price!

There's also a small bar where you can order drinks. The last time we were there, we ordered coffee, and the owner's wife made it for us. She even asked if we preferred Starbucks beans or her personally selected local beans. She was so accommodating and friendly.

Great place, cordial staff. The sand is clean and the waters are crystal clear. You can rent a videoke machine and have it brought to your room.

You can also play beach volleyball at the beachfront. And they have kayaks available for rent.

Good for family outings looking to have a relaxing weekend, and for company outings looking into team building as they have a very wide open spaces.
