Naglayan Island — Local services in Culion

We had a 5-day stay in Sunlight Eco Tourism Island Resort with 100 guests from the company I event-managed along with my team. The place is majestically a sight to behold! From arrival time at the dock, their staff were all friendly and helpful. Everyone were beaming with smiles and their greeting will surely warm your hearts as we were welcomed into the receiving hall. 😍

Shout out to the "Code:Seatbelt" buggy drivers who were never-endingly running around the island to ensure that guests were brought without hassle to anywhere they wish to go. "Code:Sparkle" and "Code:Shotglass" staff were all accommodating as well. Thanks so much!😍

However, during event hours, they ran short of what they promised to provide us with. Their airconditioning failed to cool down our assembly hall (restaurant). Their audio system fell short of our expectations & led lights were missing. If only their event manager was more honest to let us know about this ahead of time, we would have flew in our own lights and our own full audio support. We still had fun at the last night party (had no choice), but it would have been more fun if the band didn't have difficulty belting out the lyrics of the party songs. Lol!

The food is great! Ten thumbs up! 😍

The beach were all so cool and clear. Instagrammable! Perfect for your My Day posts. 😂 But be careful, the water may not be safe to swim in without wearing full rashguards. Me and my partner got slightly stung by jellyfish on my right leg and his right arm.

There are perfect deep places to go for snorkeling just ask the front desk for you to be brought there. And they'd offer free diving experience...

SUNLIGHT ECOTOURISM RESORT

Extremely a terrible place because of the customer service and food. They do not value guests. They discriminate and treat guests rudely.

Managers are disrespectful to their guests, sales officers are not trained, 50% of the menu is not available, water activities are not available, this is like a self service hotel. Guest will adjust to the resort. As posted in the fb comments by them: guests are not always right. Consider other...
