staff was nice but experience was mid. instructor provided us 2 beginner boards that was both left footed. he told us you can find the natural side once you start moving. the problem is the biginner board had fins on one side and the boot position was not symmetrical. so in the end if you are naturaly right footed, the fins will be in front of you and you will be standing closer to the front of the board which will make it harder to learn for a beginner. i tried bringing this issue up to the instructor by subtly hinting that i will use my left even though i am more right footed but still no reaction. so i assumed that they only had one type of beginner board setup. after our session, we stayed for awhile to see the next session. before the next group tried on the same board we used, the instructor told them...."wait!...i will give you better boards"...0-0...clearly...these boards were newer and were left and right footed. obviously...we did not leave a tip after that. In summary, if you are experienced wakeboarder, you will not have an issue with this place. if you are a begginer and would like to get a good impression of this water sport..go to the wakeparks...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt was a fun experience to go wake boarding despite we are beginners. But what spoil the fun was the two instructors that were not helpful and not friendly they were prejudice to Filipinos. We observed they were extra friendly and nice to the foreigners only.
We arrived past 130PM for the 3PM slots they extended about 15-20minutes to the three Australian guys I heard the instructor told them to go for another round so we thought itās usual to extend. This time it was our turn as expected we were slow and always fell to the water just one forward and back then we take turns with four of us. I was surprised we were only given second round and done at exactly 4:01PM. I want to make a complain but my husband reminded me not to spoil our vacation. But he felt the same way too, he felt embarrassed when he offered his cigarette and turned down by the instructor it was kinda rude.
We are not happy with our experience and certainly not worth for 5stars maybe the cookie yes. We paid the same and maybe will give more extras if the treatment was fair so if you are a Filipino I will not recommend you visiting this place. Such a prejudice to the same race in our very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you want a challenge... Try foiling! I love boardsports, but I never foiled in my life... so far! You get to know the 'foil experience' on your knees and I gotta say it feels pretty magic getting lifted into the air. Smiles everywhere! Then the real deal begins when you have to try to stand up. Since I'm a surfer I thought it would be fairly easy to get up on such a big board. It wasn't... smiles were gone and cursing started which led to frustration. The instructor saw I was doing the wrong things so I went to the side to get some extra tips & tricks. Once back in the water I graduadly got better in finding my balance. First I was just riding the board flat up until the point I got finally lifted into the air standing up on that board. Oh what a feeling! It reminded me of catching that first green wave, that feeling of achievement! I could proudly tick the box. The rest of the hour was trying to stay as long as possible on the foil and trying to make some turns. I'd definitly reccommend it! Just push through the beginning and you will be rewarded. Prices are very cheap compared to European prices, so try it when...
