Giant tuna can be seen unloaded every dawn from the numerous fishing vessels at Fish Market 1 and eventually graded, traded, packed and readied for shipment abroad or elsewhere in the country. The rest are bought by local seafood proessors and traders.
It has passed both US FDA and EU standards so this should be the cleanest fish port in the Philippines. Visitors can do nothing less but to abide by its rules of cleanliness and orderliness.
