Went to Tagaytay with no scheduled plans. But out of the blue, we wanted to go shooting so I googled “shooting range near me (Tagaytay) and this being the closest. Despite having so many negative reviews about “racist”, we still went ahead. When we arrived, we were attended by the gate keeper. I mentioned that we want to shoot, the gate keeper asked my about our nationality. My wife is foreigner, whilst, me and my son are dual citizens. With no issues, we were welcomed and called a shooting assistant, Francis. He’s a nice young guy, who assisted us and briefed us about safety and proper gun handling.
As walk-ins, we were only allowed to rent 1 glock. Bullet is 15P/pcs and finished 200 rounds. Great experience and highly recommended.
By the way, i dont think this shooting range is “racist”. I mentioned the negative comments to the shooting assistant. He said that foreigners are allowed as long as they are assisted by someone who can speak tagalog to be the interpreter. I think it is matter of communication, since the assistants are not fluent in any foreign language. It is gun safety, very important that the clients can understand the briefing well.
Anyways, will definitely...
Read moreTotally racist towards foreigners. A Chinese and filipino own the range. My wife is filipino and had all required ltopf and ptc and presented it. They would not let me on the range with her . The staff called the owner who advised no white foreigners ! They have taken my post down and I will keep posting this. Do not go to this range. I help people as I am a retired police officer from USA and firearms trainer. I teach PNP Swat here for free and this is how they treat people helping. And for the person saying I am not qualified to teach, using Jeremy Falcon instead of his real name Jonard, I don't certify people for PTC, I teach tactical training which requires no certifications from PNP. Do your homework next time and don't be ignorant. If I was not able to teach PNP would not invite me!
They may have changed there policy on this but someone else left a review recently about the same issue. However , they still owe me a public apology. I will not go quietly...
Read moreThis place is engaging in discriminatory business practices as of today. I am a foreigner here living in the Philippines, and I called to ask about the (many) negative reviews this place has for charging foreigners extra money to use the range. The rude and nasty lady I spoke to didn't even let me get a word in! She spoke over me for the entire phone call (and then hung up on me) and informed me that "yes, foreigners are charged 500 pesos to use the range, while Filipinos are only charged 200". You can...
