1000 STEPS CHALLENGE, perfect for a cardio exercise.
To end our Alfonso Lista series, we present to you the 1000 Steps Challenge which overlooks the Magat river and the hydroelectric powerplant. It is called as such for obvious reasons. If you are a believer of morning jogs, nowhere is a better venue than this one. Go and take the challenge.
For further details, here is LGU Alfonso Lista's description of the park: "The 1000 steps is laid on a 497-meter concrete pathway that starts from the south entrance towards the cross hill in the middle of the park. Read moreRight next to Magat Dam, this is another spot you should definitely hit up. There are 2 ways to get to the 1000 steps. One is to take a short cut but I wouldn't go that way unless you have an off-road vehicle. It won't be a good time.
Instead go all the way around San Ramon.
You'll have to take a 30 peso tricycle ride to get up to the 1000 steps unless you wanna hike up to the site. Same as going down, you have the option of walking all the way down to the hostility site as well. There's a burger spot there if you're hungry next to the hospitality desk.
There are nice 360 views when you get to the top, there's an observation deck and a hanging bridge. Check out my photos.
