We booked our guided tour with the help of the Iligan Tourism Office. You can find their contact details on their Facebook page. They respond faster via phone call compared to text or private message via messenger.
It was a Saturday when we visited. Our guide said this place is closed unless you have an official tour guide to go with you. On the other hand, the visiting hours in the sign say that it's open on weekends, but you can't really see this sign unless you're already inside the establishment. There is one lady who seems to be the caretaker who is in charge of deciding who can enter.
This is a historical site that gives you a glimpse of the life of the Macaraeg-Macapagal family. Currently, there is a resort beside it. The street outside is lined with several carts selling pork lechon, which apparently is a must-try here in Iligan.
