Everything's well thought out --- from the grander scale such as how the place and amenities are designed and organized down to the smallest details such as the clothes hanger and the pail and dipper made available before you enter your kubos. It also is the epitome of Filipino warmth and hospitality, starting from the owner, caretaker, kitchen valets, cooks, boat and trike drivers, etc. They'll make you feel welcome and well taken cared of. Food is also unbelievably cheap. Our bill was only around 2k for 2 days (2 lunch and 2 dinner for 2 pax) and that already consists of 2 mid sized lobsters and isopods for lunch. Do note though that this is an offgrid area. Mobile and net signal is non existent. Set expectations that iced drinks may not always be available, meals depend on the fishermen's catch of the day, etc. The place also reminds me of the photos my sister shared to us on her trip to Bali. To say that it's beautiful is an understatement. So if you want to reset not just your body clock but your mind and soul as well, then Bilay Makadawi is great retreat haven. Walking-distance spots in Bilay: Dicotcotan Beach, Salyat Rocks and tidal pool, lighthouse and nearby tidal pool

No signal so its a total disconnect. Been our accommodation for 4 years in a row during our visit at the coastal Isabela. Locals are very nice and friendly. The resort is an overall package already. The owners are very helpful. The rooms are big. No electricity bug generator only 6pm to 9pm. Kitchen valley for a price due to isolation. Highly recommended for your stay whenever at Palanan. Have pools. You can go here from Manila to Cauayan then plane to Palanan airport then 1 hour trike to port then 30 min boat ride to the resort. Palanan offers beaches and blue lagoon and a laid back town. Week signal data. You can go to neighboring towns like Divilacan to the islands of Dipudo and Honeymoon Island (private) and Maconacon too where blos River is one of the cleanest river. The coastal Isabela offers a view of the Sierra Madre range and the great pacific ocean. These Towns are isolated from the rest of Isabela

This place is magnificent, great staff, the owner of this beach resort is Mr. Marlon Makadawi.... Very accommodating!!! Love the locals!! Don't be shy to say hi to the locals and smile!!! Peaceful and to be honest it is like you rent the whole place, cause you will be the only guest or tourist, excatly exclusive, they have two rooms, tree house to be excact! You can request for any kinds of seafood, from drinks liquor, anything they got it all. You can bring foods, or live fish and they can cook it for you. It's definitely the best!!!...
