The trip is worth it! It's about 45minutes from the port of Kawayan, Biliran. The waters aren't that rough so the trip isn't tiring. The fares though is a bit pricey but the destination is worth it. The waters are so clear that you can see the sea floor even without goggles on and it isn't too salty so it won't sting your eyes much. The view from the hilltop is spectacular! The locals are nice, too. If you'll be heading there best to bring your own food, a butane so you can cook your food on your own without too much hassle. You can grill, too. The sand is mostly seashells and dead corals so it's rough on the soles. Also the sea bed is rocky so be prepared with some aquatic shoes if you have a pair. Like in other places in the Philippines, you have to pay a small fee. 100 pesos If I remember well. It's to help preserving. But there is plastic in the island. They can easily put fines or sign to inform or make it a no plastic island. It's so small that it's possible to do. The workers are just sitting there and not cleaning the island.
