Pros (I'm being too generous here) Beach-side umbrellas and chairs Not too crowded, lots of space to run around and claim your own spot for a few hours Variety of stores around Go here if you're traveling with a large group like I did, because then your own noise will cancel out everyone else's lol Night life is cool ig, fire dance and live bands every night afaik Pet-friendly
Cons Weak to zero signal. Free WiFi near the entrance but wasn't working all day when we tried it out. Don't expect to get any calls or work done Lots of stray dogs, some were violent Idk how often they filter out the pool, but when we were there it was very murky and smelled like piss lol Expect to hear karaoke all day. Rooms aren't sound proof Rooms also smelled like piss Performance after the fire show was weird and turned sexual- not good especially when there were children watching!! Women were strip dancing, what?? They allow karaoke even after 9 pm, by that time there are drunks running and puking around. Wouldn't recommend anyone (especially women) to go out at night because you're not immune to Bawal Bastos Law. This isn't the resort's fault, of course, but we complained about some people and the staff simply dismissed us and said hehe lasing po kasi (you don't say??? So you allow your guests to catcall women??) Overall needs LOTS of upgrades. Bathrooms had leaky faucets, soiled (đ€ą) pillows that we wouldn't have found out had we not checked. Squeaky beds, cracked floor tiles/walls, etc. Seemingly understaffed. You either chance upon really kind staff or very rude ones. Had to follow-up staff thrice!! Idk their policy on solicitations but we had people knocking on our doors in the morning selling food and souvenirs :')
Would not recommend, whoever owns or runs this place probably doesn't want you to...
Read moreThe beach is good. Fine sand but not white. Reysam is one of the resorts operating in that stretch of beach. Fun and safe waves no riptides experienced and seen when we visited. Downside is that there's dogs and there's dog feces.
Road going to Reysam is narrow and not paved. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is good with a good size quantity. It is served at 7 am so it depends on your preference. Good thing they allow yoi to cook in the veranda.. u just need to bring electric griller... butane stove and other necesities to cook your food. Enough parking spaces to accomodate guests
Negative: we opted to get a family room with 3 twin size beds enough for 6 adults and 2 kids (3 and 8 yrs old) priced at 7500 per day. We stayed two nights there. I dont get why you have to pay 300 pesos per head when you are already paying for a room that can accomodate you! For me this is highway robbery!
The amenities advertised is not all what they seem. Theres no tv in our room, there were times that water is not available for the 2 days we spent there, wifi is not working... we are getting less than 1 mbps or none... and this is especially frustrating if you want to get some work done while enjoying your vacation. The pool is not well maintained as we saw frogs swimming at the pool. They attempt to clean it daily but i think it is not enough with the rain, crowd that used it, frogs that swam in it and other things that defile a pool.
All in all... Reysam experience fell short of the expectation and the price. People can get one villa for 5500 with...
Read moreItâs not worth it, even though they were quick to respond when it came to reservations and payment. When we got there, the place didnât look anything like the pictures on their Facebook page. Unfortunately, we didnât check online reviews before, because we were in a rush and assumed the resort would be good, but that wasnât the case. The rooms were not nice at all, even though the post claimed they were ânewly renovated.â They looked terrible and definitely not worth the price cuz the price of each villa is not worth it considering how it actually looks. The bathroom was dirty, the faucet was broken, and even the door didnât have a lock. The equipment rentals were also extremely overpriced. Yes, they have three pools, but all of them were dirty, no one seemed to be cleaning them. Once youâve made a reservation, thereâs no refund, which was our biggest mistake. This was a lesson for us. always check reviews first, even when youâre in a rush. Maging mabusisi and mag check para hindi din kayo ma disappoint. Instead of enjoying a relaxing family outing, we ended up stressed the...
