My first time to visit KDR Adventure camp to attend a Spartan event. I came past 5am and upon approaching at the entrance I felt the safety of the place by the number of security personnel and their SOP inspection of belongings to ensure no illegal objects were brought in.
Availed an overnight tent accomodation good thing someone didn't push through their reservation that was awarded to me having reserved earlier. Inside the tent was cozy and have electrical outlets for our phone to recharge. Although a small fan were provided I felt like my surroundings were air conditioned. The air bed I had used though is semi inflated that I easily sink and shift as I move. I had a good rest even if I wake up every now and then for sleeping other place than my room.
Only snacks, no heavy meals were allowed to bring inside KDR but there is Daniel's Coffee shop to buy food and beverages especially brewed coffee. The price is somewhat high but servings were definitely worth it. There are food stalls around outside for low budget alternatives.
There are quad(ATV) rentals for thrill seekers and swimming pool construction in progress.
I very much recommend this place especially without external events to those who seek a vacation with physical activity and reconnecting...
Read moreI recently visited Daniel’s Coffee with my dog, excited to try their offerings. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by inconsistent and disappointing treatment.
Despite having my dog in a stroller and wearing diapers, the staff refused to let us enter the premises. I understand and respect pet policies, but what bothered me was the hypocrisy. During our visit, other guests with dogs were allowed to dine inside without any issues.
The inconsistency in enforcing their pet policy left a bad taste in my mouth. It seemed arbitrary and unfair. As a responsible dog owner, I take steps to ensure my pet is well-behaved and clean, only to be turned away.
While I can't comment on the food quality, I hope the management reevaluates their pet policy to ensure fairness and consistency for all customers. Until then, I would caution fellow pet owners to call ahead and confirm their policy before visiting.
Rating: 2/5 stars
Recommendation: Clarify and consistently enforce pet policies to avoid disappointing...
Read moreThe food was good, and staying in a treehouse was cool, but you do get the feeling its unfinished. There is more being built all the time, and it should not be judged now, but there seemed like not enough activities, although if you like go carts there is a option of driving aroubd a course. . The WiFi seems poor, considering we were staying guests. Also staying guests had to pay for Wi Fi. The children did love the dinosaurs but older kids not so much. With so many assault courses, I guess you can train for the army.
The coffee shop on site Daniels is good for food and the site does serve a very good breakfast more than enough for one person and tastes good. There is a supplies shop where water can be...
