Before setting off on your adventure to Atulayan Island, register at Nato Port. Here, you'll go ahead and arrange for your boat ride and secure your spot. For groups of 1 to 10 people, the boat ride fee is 1,600 pesos, while groups of 10 to 20 people can expect a fee of 2,500 pesos. If you travel with a vehicle, you can park it at Nato Barangay Hall. The parking fee for motorcycles is 50 pesos. Inform the Barangay Tanod or any Barangay official, and they'll assist in securing your vehicle.
We went here on a weekend and stayed at MJ Victoria Beach Resort. The cottages range from 1,600-2,500 pesos, and entrance fees and tent-pitching are free. The resort also has a kitchen and cookware materials that the visitors can use for free—no flowing water yet, so you need to pay P25.00/pail if you want to take a bath. There is also a store on the island where you can buy essentials.
