World class museum, indeed! If you don't have the time to hike Mount Hamiguitan yet, make the time to visit the museum first. You'll be able to gain an understanding of the importance of the biodiversity of the forest and why it needs to be protected. Going through the museum would instill in you an appreciation of nature and all the creatures that live in it and would inspire you to do your part to save the environment. Hoping I could hike the mountain someday... World class museum, indeed! If you don't have the time to hike Mount Hamiguitan yet, make the time to visit the museum first. A truly WORLD CLASS Museum in the heart of a forest mountain garden jungle! I was in awe the moment I saw the mountain, and was pretty much speechless and breathless the whole way! The lush nature surrounding, the very well maintained and designed museum structure! I loved the architecture details and the way the images were displayed and laid out!!! And the next goal is to definitely hike this mountain to see it's...

Its impressive flora counts a total of 878 species, whereas its distinguished fauna include the Philippine Eagle. The vast, 600-hectare bonsai field is enchanting, and even more so the mysterious ‘Tinagong Dagat’ (Hidden Sea), a lake that is said to have high tide and low tide schedules – a phenomenon that awaits an explanation. A 3-trek to the 1620 MASL mountain will take you...
