Pink Beach Resort — Local services in San Vicente

One of the best place I’ve been to in my country (The Philippines) is Apo Island. The vibrant cerulean Apo Island is a sanctuary for wild turtles. They migrate and breed here, thus, this is the best example of successful community based sanctuaries. It is so famous that the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago patterned its main exhibit after the Island. Although it is safe from scrupulous hunters, the corals are degrading and bleaching as tourists continues to wear non-coral-friendly sunscreen. Non-coral-friendly sunscreens damages the healthy ecosystem of marine life because of its chemical toxicity. Let us all be reminded that we should be a responsible tourist and switch to products that will not hurt...

The Pink Beach in Sila Island is amazing and the long boat transfer is totally worth it. However, during our visit last June 2017, portion of the beach is littered with trash. Hopefully, this could be actioned by the LGU.
