A beautiful little island, around 20 minutes boat ride south of Matnog. There's a gorgeous little cluster of small resorts right near Subic Beach. It has a very relaxed feel about it, and the locals are genuinely friendly. There's not even a motorbike on this island. You travel around on foot, or by boat. Subic Beach is known for its pink sand that is more visible at certain times of the day. The pink sand is actually tiny fragments of red quartz, and so reflects light from certain angles.
