Disappointing and Unsafe Experience – Not Worth the Stay

Our stay at this beach resort was unfortunately one of the most frustrating getaways we've had. While the location holds natural beauty, the lack of basic amenities and poor maintenance completely overshadowed it.

🚱 No Running Water: Imagine arriving from a long road trip only to find there’s no water for showering or flushing. It stayed that way for most of our stay.

🚫 No Electricity: Power outages weren’t just frequent—they were barely addressed.

🚽 Filthy Toilet Facilities: The bathrooms were in an appalling state. Dirty, smelly, and clearly not cleaned regularly. Hygiene was definitely not a priority here.

🛠 Neglected and Dangerous: One of the railings near our cottage was damaged and poorly secured. My sister tripped over it and scratched her knee. It felt like there was no regard for guest safety.

🪚 Zero Maintenance: From broken fixtures to crumbling walkways, it was clear that this resort is not being looked after. What could’ve been a charming escape turned into a stressful ordeal.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience truly deserves a warning to others. Until serious improvements are made, I strongly suggest...

Disappointing Experience – Wouldn’t Recommend

I recently visited this resto-bar in Cagwait, and it was a complete letdown. From the moment we walked in, the service was terrible—the waitress completely ignored us, and even when we were ready to order, she didn’t bother coming to our table. I had to go to her just to place our order.

As for the food, it was a solid 3/10 at best. The pork sinigang was undercooked, with the meat still tough and rubbery. The sizzling pork was drenched in oil, making it practically inedible. To make things worse, they didn’t even turn on the air conditioning, making the dining experience uncomfortable.

Don't be fooled by their Facebook pictures! Our stay at this resort was a letdown. When booking, they failed to mention they didn't have a generator. A whole-day power outage left us without electricity until 7 pm, and worse, no water since their pumps rely on power. It was incredibly inconvenient, especially with no access to basic facilities. Guests will use the bathroom across the road near their bar, which was far from our rooms. When I reached out to the staff for assistance, there was no help. We ended up fetching our own water from the ground floor to the 3rd floor. The lack of customer service and basic amenities made our stay frustrating.
