I was expecting more based on the reviews. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of trash left behind by others. I suggesting parking by the rock wall below the light house and walking the stairs down. It was pretty, but I think there are better locations on the island.

A hidden Gem. Beautiful location to take photos of a sunset, have a picnic and enjoy the view of an endless ocean. There were grills and picnic tables here once and it looks like there were teared down permanently or will be rebuilt again. Enjoy!

We came in January and it was very secluded. There are two people fishing at the very end. You feel as though you're sneaking down into your own personal Paradise. There's a lighthouse about halfway down and some incredible videos when you reach the bottom. Depending on how old you're feeling you can walk across some other formations into some precarious albeit breathtaking areas not the greatest for photos because of angles, but incredible...

Here in 2025, from Florida: we just kinda wanted to see the mountain in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, the mountain/volcano that will one day, wipe out the entire east coast of the United States with a tsunami!
