Hele mooie plek met gratis ligbedjes en parasols! Die staan op het beton. Een piep klein poeltje voor kleine kinderen en een iets grotere poel waar je heerlijk rustig kan dobberen! Vanaf een uur of 15:30 u kan je genieten van spectaculaire hoge golven die breken op de rotsen en de poeltjes voorzien van fris water! Parkeren kan aan de weg. Douche en kleedhokje aanwezig. Op bepaalde dagen ook een drink kraampje. Aanrader, deze zwem-/zon plek!

A natural swimming spot located in Manhenha, Pico that is surrounded by the vast Atlantic Ocean and its jagged coast line made of lava stone. Here you are able to enjoy the sun while cooling off in the cool ocean water. With a great view of the famous lighthouse to the west and access to its hiking trails near by. Very relaxing place. It has showers and a cabin to change in, also has a soccer field which is pretty big and you can also play volleyball in it. Best swim you'll ever take...
