Charming ancient bridge in a scenic location, accessible by foot either from the Pedrógão Grande side, or the Pedrógão Pequeno side. On either side of the river there is also a hiking trail. The Eastern side appears to be popular by mountain bikers. The Western side is for hikers only, unless one wants to carry the bike down / up a very steep ravine consisting of loose rocks. Nice walking trail, please do not try to go by car, road is narrow, steep and there is not much soce for turning a car back, make the walk instead from the town of "Pedrogao Pequeno", nice view going down, beautiful scenery, if there is no much people enjoy the silence and peace of the place.
