It was a nice place. Quiet, clean and accessible, kid friendly because it has playground around the area. A bit off cause the play area was a little dark during the evening--the light source was from the post which was maybe 5 to 10meters away from the play area and also far from the cottagea....but it was still nice. I would recommend visitors to bring portable lights if you wish to stay until midnight (closing time). The management is expecting visitors to follow the rules to help keep the place nice and clean.

Oh there's also place for changing and washing after swimming and a cafeteria within the vicinity but was close during...

This is a real gem! I only discovered this beach recently, having lived in Qatar for four years. From Doha, it is only a 40-minute drive.

The beach is a good place to take young children. When we visited, it was clean and looked well-maintained. Beachgoers should know that the beach is predominantly sandy with some areas of stone. As well as large play areas for the children, the beach has many umbrellas and benches to provide shade. Even though there are cafeterias on the beach, they don't appear to be in operation. While there are prayer rooms and bathrooms on the beach, there are no shops, so it's best to bring your...

We have a great time there. Positive: It have play ground for kids, its always clean because they have cleaner roaming the beach and trash bin on every post, secured because they have guard on duty and it has light post during the night. Negative: It is not allowed to cook or grill, so the people preferred to stay outside the perimeter to cook their packed food. Maybe because the management wants to maintain the area clean which is understandable. Another thing is the water under is full of rocks which you have to be careful especially if you have kids, because it can cause...
