I have been a loyal Home Centre customer for over eight years, purchasing most of my home furniture and essentials from them. However, my recent experience was extremely disappointing.
A few months ago, I purchased a comforter from Home Centre. Before buying, I specifically asked a staff member whether it was machine washable, and he confirmed that it was. The washing instructions on the tag also clearly stated that it could be washed and tumble-dried. Based on this, I washed it two days ago, only to find that all the filling shifted inside, making the comforter completely unusable.
I had bought two of them, but after seeing how the first one turned out, I didn’t wash the second. I took both back to the store, expecting a solution. Instead, a staff member named Sanjit told me that since I didn’t pay a high price for it, I shouldn’t expect high quality! This was shocking—regardless of price, a product should at least be usable after following the given care instructions. I asked him whether it’s a disposable product! He said no but don’t expect quality!When I explained that I had barely used it and only washed it once according to the label, he simply apologized and offered to return only the un-washed one while I had to take the damaged one back home. He acted as if this was a huge favor, but I was left feeling frustrated and unheard.
Home Centre advertises “best quality” everywhere, but in reality, their products don’t always meet expectations, and their return policy is not customer-friendly. Despite being a long-time customer, I never expected to be treated this way. I have even purchased expensive items from them before, such as a duck-down duvet that sheds feathers constantly, yet I never complained. But this experience has truly changed my perception of the brand.

The instore staff are useless, anything you ask them they refer you to call the customer service.
Their after purchase customer service is worse, they took a sofa 4 times to fix it and it never got fixed. The customer service staff was super rude, basically saying this is what we got.
The delivery guy would call at 8 am or 1pm saying "send location I come now" and when saying can you come at 4pm as I have work, they reply last delivery time is at 3pm so imagine how many times I had to leave work for a sofa that never got fixed. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend for anyone buying anything that can require after customer care.
Finally, I tried using a shukran gift voucher they didnt have a clue how to use it in store and asked me to try purchase online or call the customer service. When bought an item using a shukran voucher and tried to return it they insisted I take home centre credit as per their policy, i asked to speak to the manager named "hasta" and he reads the policy " all refunds shall be issued in the same mode of original payment" and yet they insisted on a home centre credit not a shukran gift...

When i do many plastic remains in chair joints. Table and chairs r misaligned all of them rocking also. There are gaps in joints. So then we called customer service. Its the worst service in all qatar. 2 times they schedule technical service and 2 times no one dare to visit us.
