Unpleasant Experience with Manager Hassan at Tivoli Furniture Store
For years, my visits to Tivoli Furniture Store have been highlighted by the delightful encounters with the sales ladies, especially Erin and Mariel whose warmth and welcoming nature made every purchase a pleasure. As a devoted fan of their baobab candles, I've always appreciated this level of customer care.
However, my recent experience with Manager Hassan has left me disheartened. During my visit, I had a minor issue with a slightly melted candle. I was fully prepared to accept a 'no' to a discount inquiry, understanding the value of the product. Yet, it wasn't the discount that became the problem, but rather Hassan's approach to communication.
After an initial unsatisfactory interaction, I felt the need to give feedback to Hassan. But, upon attempting to discuss the matter further with him, the situation escalated alarmingly. Hassan raised his voice, confronting me loudly in the store. This public display was not only uncomfortable but completely unprofessional, especially in contrast to the sales staff's usual discreet and polite manner.
This incident has significantly tainted my view of Tivoli Furniture Store. It's disconcerting to receive such treatment from a managerial figure, especially as a long-term customer. The issue here extends beyond a simple product query; it highlights a serious concern about the store's approach to customer service and communication, particularly from management.
I sincerely hope that this feedback is taken seriously by Tivoli Furniture Store. The importance of maintaining a respectful, professional, and courteous environment cannot be overstated, and it's crucial that all staff, especially those in management, uphold...
Read moreI had a bought a kitchen and two pantries from Scavolini, which is under Tivoli. The people who work there have no integrity and are happy to delivery chipped cupboards, hide broken items and ignore you until you give up on getting the product that you have paid for. Additionally the wrong size drawer inserts where ordered and I am now stuck with those. To say the staff that work there are unprofessional is an understatement. Tivoli may have been a respectable place to purchase furniture 20 years ago but those days are long gone especially with the level of professionalism of current staff. Below are some pictures of the issues I faced with my kitchen. I had to spend a lot of time with Tivoli to argue with them to fix these broken products and to this day I still don’t have a fully functioning kitchen I’m happy with one year on from installation. Don’t waste your money buying...
Read moreI visited Tivoli yesterday to confirm an order I had put in with the wallpaper section. I merely wanted to reconfirm my wallpaper selection and ask in person when they’d send someone to collect the measurements, as the designated employee N, was not answering the phone.
I was treated horribly by employee Y. Unprofessional demeanour from the beginning, crossing her arms and immediately telling me to come tomorrow as perhaps N would be available, as well as rudely speaking of her inability to help me or even check my order details on the system, as employees cannot check on other employees’ work.
The number I was given to at the information desk to speak to a supervisor was a general number, and the only people responding are N and Y. I reached out to Tivoli on Instagram, but they have yet to even answer me.
My advice? Visit Tivoli if you want to be...
