Al Maroona Beach — Local services in Ash Shamal

The water was lovely.. can drive up close to beach. Veey accessable. Unfortunately some people still don't care about the environment or respect themselves enough to put their hand out and put the plastic bottle or bag in the trash. Kudos to the environmental service for sending the garbage truck at around 7 am and guys in yellow outfits to do the job for us and help clean up the area. Small beach..nice swimming area.. good views and people having some family fun. Good to come at sunrise by 5 am and leave...

This is quite silent beach as when we went not much crowded, as there is no lights so I'll suggest carry your Chargeable lights for better visibility. Sunrise also good here but if you wish to go for swimming be careful as there is stones inside but it's quite far from beach. Bring water also as no access for drinking water also No changing rooms also there. As I have seen few beach there is shower and changing...

Beach can be found rather easily, however, you will need a 4x4 to drive offroad. When we were there, there were many campervans on the beach. Not too crowded, the beach is a great place to see a sunrise and is tranquil.

In the clear sea, it is easy to spot crabs, sea cucumbers, and other sea creatures living along the shoreline.
