Stanca river beach — Local services in Ștefănești

I would have given it 5 start, for a beach so near Iasi. But there is only a very very dirty toilet (a hole in the ground, really) and no shade unless you bring your own umbrella. The beach is clean, the water is clean (not cristal clear, but clean). You can buy food there (but the list is limited to 2 or 3 options), water and juice. No cigarettes. But it is a lovely place to take the kids out during the weekend. Big parking space on the top side of it. I would recommend slippers, as the beach has pebbles (some quite sharp). Un colțișor minunat, de poveste, am fost de zeci de ori și vom mai reveni, e o mini-plajă improvizată de vizitatori pe marginea lacului de acumulare Stânca-Costești și e atât de relaxantă această zonă, e perfectă pentru o conexiune cu natura, cu liniștea și libertatea...e un loc în care poți veni când, cum și cu ce dorești...

📌fac o mențiune care m-a șocat în acest an, în august, (motiv pentru care nu am revenit aici recent) la doar câțiva metri de lac, a fost improvizată o "gunoiște" un loc de acumulare a deșeurilor, un loc total nepotrivit, un loc unde mizeria și toxinele acumulate în contact direct cu acțiunea soarelui e un focar de bacterii și mirosul îngrozitor afectează întreaga zonă...îmi era frică pentru familia mea și am fost nevoiți să părăsim locația înainte de timpul propus. Am făcut apel la autoritățile locale pentru a alerta problema și a găsi cât mai curând posibil o soluționare a acestei mizerii creată de "oameni"...aș dori să adaug mai multe aici dar...mă abțin. Îmi vine greu de crezut că sunt încă atâtea persoane fără bun simț, fără rațiune. Așa că, cum se îndepărtează problema, imediat puteți profita...
