Mănăstirea Dejani — Local services in Recea

Located in the Fagaras Mountains, 21 km from Fagaras, the "Covering of the Virgin Mary" Monastery in Dejani is an oasis of peace, prayer and blessing for all believers who direct their steps here. Rebuilt after 1989 on the foundation of the old monastery destroyed by General Bucow in 1761, the Dejani Monastery rises at an altitude of approximately 860 m, an altitude similar to Mount Tabor. The foundation of the old church, the well, the bell dating from 1320 and the icon of Saint Hierarch Nicholas, which belonged to the old monastery, were discovered in 1990. The priest from the village of Dejani, took the initiative to build the monastery. As a protective gesture, the construction of the large church of the Monastery was erected on the site of the old small church. The construction was made in the "Moldovan Stefanian" style, by craftsmen from Vatra Moldoviţei, Suceava County. The church is built of wood, having a trilobed shape. On the south side of the monastic complex, a building for monks was built in the Brancoveanu style, notable for the rows of columns joined by arches. A monumental bell tower was built in the western part of this building. Eu nu cred in spiritualism, chiar nu cred ca Dumnezeu sta si se uite chiar la toti muritorii de rand si sa ii ghideze de fiecare data cand acestia trec pragul lui lacas de cult. Cu atat mai putin nu cred in minuni, pana recent cel putin! Am fost martor un minuni la Manastirea Dejani. Acest domn, foarte controversat in viata de zi cu zi, tatuat si toate cele, s-a transformat complet! Cred ca asistam la nasterea unui Dalai Lama de Romania. Multumesc preotilor pentru dedicatia si eforturile depuse! Se pare ca Dumnezeu, chiar are tabul cu Manastirea Dejani deschis...

O oază de liniște spirituală și credință. Păcat că n-au locuri de cazare pentru 10-30 de zile . Un loc mirific ce te încarcă energetic și ai putea să-ți pui ordine , stând mai mult în zonă. Doamne...
