Cobra Entertainment City — Local services in Eastern Province

This park is a gem. Do you wanna know why?

Well…. there ain’t any theme parks like this park in the Eastern Province. There’s no Six Flags, Cedar Fair, Disney Land or Universal Studios. Although I know that Six Flags is coming to Riyadh for the first time in 2023.

As I went with my family to this to check this theme park out, a man told us some history about the park and how the main attraction is the roller coaster that they have which is called, “The Cobra.” I also went a ride called, “Condor” which was really neat and also “Break Dance” as well. The park is really fun when you go to the rides with family and I would visit it again.

However, they need to update the theming to make it a busier and big attraction as the park has been rusting with some of the amusement park rides and along with some other things as well. The prices are a bit expensive too and the park doesn’t have a website which they should. The park is open, but not too much people come. They only come a lot on eid and Fridays.

With a little maintenance, adding a few fast food restaurants, replacing old rides with updated ones, adding new rides/roller coasters, seats and professional staff in all would make this park really awesome and funner destination.

Visited with my family, including 2 kids. The reason I'm giving 1 stars is only because of rides arrangement. Otherwise, I would have given zero, and here is why :

The ride operators charge your ride cards with no attention and caused me an evident 65 Riyal of scam. I calculated the rides and their cost, but all of sudden, the card showed short of 65 Riyal. They tap the cards on their card readers with no attention and charged repeatedly saying that it was not tapped properly. I recommend visitors to verify their card balance and ride fare when operators are tapping it.

Similar situation at the dinosaur and lighting area of the park, which is not included in your card. I tried entering the area of the dinosaur area at the queue to pay the entrance fee, and there were 2 keepers at the entrance. The first one said entry fee is 35 Riyal per person, and kids will be charged for tickets too. Meanwhile, the same guy got into something else and moved from me to another visitor. The second keeper came , I asked again how much he said 20 Riyal per person. In a fraction of movement, I figured that these 2 guys at Dinosaur area entrance are scammers and charging visitors as much as they want. Both of them were carrying POS machine.

The park rides are just fine, not amazing, but operators and Dinosaur park entrance keepers...
