Dhahran Expo — Local services in Eastern Province

Wonderful setup and the interior design was very clean and modern. A couple of tips for the next expo which I believe would ultimately help refine and improve the experience:

Parking: even though there was a noticeable effort to make parking accessible and available, as always the sheer numbers were incredible. I would suggest the planning committee to look into commissioning a satellite parking space and provide dedicated shuttles to and from the parking. This would also ease the load on the ushers and security teams who were constantly battling to keep traffic under control. There are many suitable vacant lots in the vicinity which could be rented for the event.

Better use of the color coded zoning: even though the lighting was coded to indicate the zones, better awareness, and perhaps color coded pathways within the zones would further facilitate visitors ability to distinguish between the different zones.

Flooring materials: several areas the flooring material was quite slick even with rubber soled shoes I had a few scary moments. I don't know what those tiles were made of but it was an extremely smooth finish which provided very little purchase when walking over it, especially when transitioning from a grippy surface.

☕️ To keep visitors energized, several cafe shops are available on site, serving a range of refreshments 🍰. However, one area that needs improvement is the parking space, which can be insufficient for the number of visitors 🚗.

♿️ On the plus side, Dhahran Expo prioritizes accessibility, with all facilities supporting wheelchair accessibility, ensuring that everyone can participate and enjoy the exhibitions 🌈.
